If you look closely at the numerous hieroglyphics you find all over Egypt's antiquities, you'd think that nothing much has changed.
In this day and age we urban nomads run around carrying our personal gadgets, to keep us 'connected'. And frankly, that was exactly what the digerati did three millennia ago. From handheld stuff showing off your connection to cyberspace, to cobra-shaped headsets - they had it all.
